Keller Lights Water Lantern Event
Keller Lights, a Water Lantern Event presented by Keller Farmers Market, is designed to celebrate the hopes, dreams and wishes of our diverse and dynamic city with a day of LOCAL music, food, and fun! You will create the finale when you and all of your Keller neighbors set afloat your personally designed lanterns in the Keller Town Center Lake behind Keller Town Hall.
Following the lantern launch, the City of Keller will have a fireworks show.

After the stress we have had in 2020, our intent is to offer this event to reconnect with our friends, loved ones and neighbors – to laugh, hug, share stories and make new magical memories. We are bringing our community together to share a wonderful day ending in a beautiful experience of hope and light.
How to fully enjoy the event…
Arrive Early
You will want to arrive early to enjoy the entire experience! There will be local vendors, food trucks, live music, and more. You will have the opportunity to shop vendors from the Keller Farmers market from 4pm to 10pm. Starting at 4pm, you can pick-up your lantern(s) and find a spot to set up on the lawn around the lake.
We would love for several of our citizens to share their lantern stories with the crowd and we will be randomly asking people to do so throughout the day before the launch. Start thinking about what you want your light to say!
Come Prepared
Remember your ticket receipt! You will want something to sit on like a blanket or a throw. Shade structures are allowed and need to be lowered after sunset to improve visibility for all. Each purchased lantern kit will include one black marker, and you may want to bring other colored markers to make your lantern design POP. You will want your camera/phone to capture your special moments during this event. You can bring in your own snacks and drinks if you prefer not to purchase from the food trucks, although experiencing the wonderful food from the food trucks is part of the fun!
Leave Revived and Renewed
Enjoy your community, music and friendships! At the end of the evening, please remember to take all your personal items and pick up your trash. We want to leave our beautiful lake area just like or better than you found it.
We LOVE our fur babies, but unfortunately no pets are allowed at this event!
Light Up The Night
You are more than welcome to bring your own glow sticks or other illuminating items to help light up this family friendly event. Remember this night is about you and your light – make it shine!
