What is Keller Lights?

Keller Lights, a Water Lantern Event presented by Keller Farmers Market, is designed to celebrate the hopes, dreams and wishes of our diverse and dynamic city with a day of LOCAL music, food, and fun! You will create the finale when you and all of your Keller neighbors set afloat your personally designed lanterns in the Keller Town Center Lake behind Keller Town Hall.

Following the lantern launch, the City of Keller will have a fireworks show.

What about COVID-19?

This is an outdoor event planned for July. If need be we will put COVID-19 mandates in place and make necessary adjustments.

What is included with my ticket?

Each ticket comes with a floating lantern kit, commemorative drawstring bag, and a marker.

What time do the lanterns launch?

The lantern launch will begin at sunset and will continue for 1-2 hours until everyone has had an opportunity to launch their lantern into the water.

What time do I need to arrive?

We encourage everyone to arrive between 4pm and 6pm. Please check the Event Schedule on the home page.

Is there an age limit for the lantern festival?

This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome to participate. By making this purchase, you agree to our participant release waiver.

Are the lanterns cleaned up after the event?

Yes, our staff, along with volunteers will ensure that each and every lantern and trash is gathered up following the event.

Can I bring my own lantern?

We’re sorry, we do not allow any outside lanterns as we cannot guarantee or be responsible for cleaning them up. We will have additional lanterns available for purchase.

Can I bring my own food or drinks to the lantern festival?

Yes, feel free to bring your own food or drinks, however, please do NOT bring outside alcohol or glass into the event area. We will also have some amazing food trucks at the event for you to enjoy some great food.

Can I bring Blankets / Lawn Chairs / Shade Structures?

Yes. Attendees will be asked to lower their shade structures after sunset to improve visibility for all.

Can I bring Alcohol?

Outside alcohol is NOT allowed. We will have alcohol for purchase at the event.

Can I bring my pet?

We LOVE our fur babies but unfortunately they are not allowed at this event. Service dogs only will be permitted.

Can I get a refund/What if there is bad weather?

Refunds are not available. Keller Lights has a rain date of the following weekend if need be.

Where is parking for the event?

Parking for this event is free and located at Life.Church, 1075 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248. Buses will be provided to shuttle you to Keller Town Hall starting at 4pm.

Keller Lights benefits the Keller Farmers Market, a non profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Can I take pictures of the Water Lantern Festival?

Absolutely! We want you to have a night that you’ll never forget!

Can I become a volunteer or apply to be part of the event staff?

We cannot have a successful event without many volunteers. If you have an organization that needs service hours we would love to have your help. High school students wanting hours for their honors programs or green cord this is the perfect opportunity for you to get those needed service hours. Join us by visiting our Volunteer page.
